How OCA delivers value for Brands and Retailers
At the heart of change is collective action. Together, we are shaping a new era for organic cotton—one defined by a transparent, resilient and responsible supply chain, from field to fashion, for people and the planet.
Built for brands that need organic cotton to actually work
OCA gives brands and retailers the supply access, verified data, and sourcing infrastructure to make organic cotton a commercially dependable part of their business.
That means pre-season purchase commitments so farmers can plan. Independently verified field-level data so you can report with confidence. And a community of suppliers, manufacturers, and implementation partners already working within the same framework.
If you’re under pressure to demonstrate credible sustainability outcomes, and to back them up with evidence that goes beyond certification labels, OCA helps make that possible.

Apply through our OCA Contributor application form. Applications are reviewed by OCA staff and the Board of Trustees. OCA undertakes a thorough analysis of each application to ensure all criteria are met. OCA favours longer-term partnerships to support farmers in transitioning to organic production or to facilitate sector-wide development, as they prove to be fundamental for the larger shift we want to see.
In our last farming season of 2022-2023, OCA connected our Brands & Retailers’ Contributors with around 80,000 farmers, which committed more than 90,000 hectares of farmland to organic cotton.
