Lead change with OCA
As a multi-stakeholder initiative, OCA welcomes organisations from across the global supply chain. Contributors are typically companies or organisations directly involved in the organic cotton value chain. This includes those engaged in producing, processing, trading, or selling products made from organic cotton. We welcome participation from brands, retailers, manufacturers, suppliers, and farmer-producer organisations. Additionally, we encourage civil society organisations to join. Specifically, those working directly with farmers, providing hands-on support, access to farming inputs, and capacity-building.
Suppliers and Manufacturers
Annual Contributor Fees are attributed to annual turnover and organisational size.
Farm Groups

Farmer organisations are any organisation that represents or works with cotton farmers or farm workers.
Civil Society Organisations
Annual Contributor Fees are attributed to annual turnover and organisational registration.
For Civil Society Organisations, the Annual fee is defined based on whether 1) the organisation is registered in a non-OECD country or an OECD country, and 2) for those registered in an OECD country the fee is based on their annual income in the previous financial year.

FAQ’s
We are a multi-stakeholder organisation committed to creating a transparent, responsible, and resilient organic cotton supply chain that promotes farmer prosperity and advances the organic cotton sector’s shared sustainability goals. As an accelerator, we want to get to this future, faster.
We were created in 2016 by our founding partners Laudes Foundation, C&A, Inditex, H&M, Kering, EileenFisher, Tchibo, and Textile Exchange.
The OCA Platform brings together those who grow, process, supply, and sell products made of organic cotton. Through the Platform, we convene stakeholders throughout the sector around a common agenda to create the conditions for organic cotton to thrive and this is how we’re catalysing change. OCA’s Contributors are at the heart of this community sharing our belief in the Organic Cotton Effect. They know that for organic cotton to deliver a positive impact at scale, we need to shift from competitive advantage toa common agenda, from individual action to collective investment.
Get in touch with us and apply. OCA Contributor applications are reviewed by OCA staff and the Board of Trustees. OCA undertakes a thorough analysis of each application to ensure all criteria are met. Once approved, prospective Contributors must pay a fee and sign a Contributor Agreement giving them access to the OCA Platform. The entire process can take up to three months.
OCA favours longer-term partnerships to support farmers in transitioning to organic production or to facilitate sector-wide development, as they prove to be fundamental for the larger shift we want to see.
